WELBORN, Commissioner.
Appeal by State Highway Commission from judgment on condemnation proceeding. Commissioners awarded Earl and Grace Moulder $47,717 for property taken. Both plaintiff and defendants excepted to award and jury fixed damages at $80,000. (Notice of appeal filed prior to January 1, 1972.)
The Moulders were owners of a 200-acre tract of land near the south city limits of Springfield. By taking as of January 10, 1967, State Highway Commission condemned 21.17 acres of the Moulder land for the construction of Route 65 By-Pass. The taking left the Moulder property in two separated…
