HIGGINS, Justice.

These are separate proceedings by a divorced wife and mother against her former husband and the father of her child in which she prayed that the judgment of divorce awarding the custody of their minor son to the father be amended so as to award her the custody; and that she be granted $50 per month alimony for the support of the child and $50 per month maintenance for herself. The cases were consolidated. There was judgment in favor of the defendant in so far as the custody of the child was concerned, but judgment for the plaintiff granting her $20 per month alimony.
