This is a suit by Southern Construction Company (hereinafter referred to as “contractor”) against the Housing Authority of the City of Opelousas, Louisiana (hereinafter referred to as “Housing Authority”), for payment of an amount allegedly due under a building contract between said parties. The trial court awarded judgment in favor of plaintiff for $7,160.00. Both parties have appealed from said judgment.
