LOTTINGER, Judge.

This is a suit for damages to property filed by Mabel M. Reymond, as petitioner, against the State of Louisiana, Department of Highways and Farnsworth Division, Fruin-Colnon Contracting Co. as defendants. Brought into this suit as a third party defendant was Reymond Concrete Pile Division of Reymond International, Inc. After trial on the merits, the Lower Court awarded judgment in favor of petitioner and against the Department of Highways in the sum of $8,750.00, with legal interest thereon at the rate of five per cent per an-num from date of demand until paid.
