Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Broome County (Smith, J.), rendered October 4, 2012, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crime of manslaughter in the first degree.

In satisfaction of a two-count indictment, defendant pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the first degree.* County Court denied defendant’s repeated applications, made both pro se and by new assigned counsel, to withdraw his plea.
