On April 2, 1887, Emma A. Leahy (now Emma A. Elliot) executed her note for $5500, payable March 1,1890, to' appellees, Bayard Stockton and LeRoy H. Anderson, trustees for the children óf Sarah J. Conover, with interest payable semi-annually, and secured the same by a trust deed to Isaac E. Adams, trustee, on a lot in Chicago. Afterward, on October 1,1888, she executed another note for $4500, payable five years after date, to the same parties, with interest payable semi-annually, and secured the same by a trust deed to the same trustee on substantially the same property.
