In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the defendant New York City Transit Authority appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Baynes, J.), dated January 17, 2014, which granted the plaintiffs motion for leave to serve a late or amended notice of claim.

Ordered that the order is reversed, on the law and in the exercise of discretion, with costs, and the plaintiffs motion for leave to serve a late or amended notice of claim is denied.
