OPINION AND ORDER DENYING HABEAS CORPUS PETITION

HELLERSTEIN, District Judge.

Jose Rosa (“petitioner”), proceeding pro se, brings this writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254 challenging his incarceration. After a jury trial, judgment was entered against the petitioner on March 27, 1998 in the Supreme Court, Bronx County, convicting him of two counts of Attempted Assault in the First Degree and one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree.
