Plaintiff, Vernon A. Blackledge, was the owner of a 1984 Fleetwood mobile home which was subject to a chattel mortgage held by Louisiana National Bank (Bank). This suit arises out of an agreement to purchase in which plaintiff agreed to lease the mobile home to Fred and Rene Vinet, defendants, pending the passage of the act of sale. When defendants failed to pay the monthly rents and voluntarily agreed to return the mobile home, plaintiff again took possession of the mobile home and turned it over to the Bank for credit under the chattel mortgage indebtedness.
