This was a Scire Facias on a judgment confessed by Jacob Lantz to George Ihrie, Esq. and George Bruch, in the Court of Common Pleas of Northampton county, upon the 17th day of August, 1822, for one thousand seven hundred and eleven dollars and ten cents, which had been revived to November Term, 1824, against the defendant, Lantz.

— At a very early day, the legislature departed so far from the English system of jurisprudence, as-to-make all debts of *416what character soever, chargeable on the real and personal estate of .the debtor.
