GALSTON, District Judge.

This is a motion for an order permitting Walter J. Krolman to intervene as an interested party defendant, pursuant to the provisions of Rule 24 of the Rules of Civil Procedure, 28 U.S.C.A. following section 723c.

The United States of America, in July 1929, entered into various contracts with the defendant, C. M. Lane Lifeboat Company, Inc., in which the Government agreed to purchase certain lifeboats from that defendant.
