The Velasco Terminal Railway Company was, upon the petition of William H. Coolidge, one of its creditors, filed in the District Court of Brazoria County, on July 25, 1899, adjudged insolvent, and a receiver was appoined to take charge of and administer the property of said insolvent corporation.
