BRYAN, Circuit Judge.

This appeal presents the question whether the claims of creditors of an insolvent corporation are barred by statute from being enforced against .the estate of a deceased stockholder, who had.not paid his subscription for capital stock which he held in such corporation. In 1915 the Demonstration Plantation Company was incorporated under the laws of Alabama. William A Roberts was one of the original subscribers to the capital stock of this corporation, and a certificate for 495 shares, fully paid, at a par value of $100 per 'share, was issued to him February 4, 1920,…
