CRANE, Judge.

A jury convicted David Lee Clay, Sr. of one count of murder in the first degree, in violation of § 565.020.1 RSMo 1986, one count of burglary in the first degree in violation of § 569.160 RSMo 1986, and one count of armed criminal action, in violation of § 571.015.1 RSMo 1986. Clay was sentenced as a prior offender to life imprisonment without parole for the murder, fifteen years imprisonment for the burglary and life imprisonment for the armed criminal action, the sentences to be served consecutively.
