MOORE, Justice.

On July 28, 1966 plaintiff delivered to defendant 250 precision stainless steel square headed bolts for a chemical processing known in the trade as passivation. Plaintiff had contracted with the United States Government to manufacture the bolts in accordance with certain government ■standards including passivation. When defendant returned them they were smaller, pitted, dark, the threads rounded and useless.
