The defendant, Ben T. De Woody, was complained against, tried and convicted of murder in the first degree for killing George W. Rumfield, Jr., by shooting him with an automatic pistol, and *615was sentenced to life imprisonment and appeals. The defendant, at the trial, justified his actions under the plea of self-defense.
