This is an appeal from a district court judgment holding defendants Consolidated Mortgage and Finance Corporation (“Consolidated”), Urbanizadora Altomar, Inc. (“Altomar”), Urbanizadora Aero, Inc. (“Aero”), Urbanizadora Apriore, Inc. (“Ap-rioré”), Jose A. Suro (“Suro”), and Antonio Amadeo (“Amadeo”), jointly and severally liable to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (“FDIC”) under certain promissory notes and letters of guaranty.
