Mrs. Opal Carter sought a declaratory judgment to establish that she is the owner of a 1/2 undivided interest in certain residential property subject to a life estate reserved by defendant, Mrs. Allie R. Mason. By amendment to her petition, plaintiff sought to join Mrs. Gladys Johnson as a party defendant on the ground that Mrs. Mason had purported to convey to her by two deeds the entire interest in the property for the purpose of defrauding plaintiff by depriving her of her 1/2 undivided interest in it and prayed for cancellation of the deeds.
