This is an appeal by Jim Walter Homes, Inc., appellant-defendant, from a judgment in favor of Joe Cruz Castillo, appellee-plain-tiff, for violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices — Consumer Protection Act, Tex.Bus. & Com. Code Ann. § 17.41 et seq. (Supp.1980) [hereinafter “DTPA”] and the Texas Consumer Credit Code, Tex.Rev.Civ. Stat.Ann. art. 5069 — 1.01 et seq. [hereinafter “Credit Code”].
