In 1978, the appellant was charged in an eight count information with committing the following crimes against Dorothy Mullen: capital murder, kidnapping, rape, and robbery; and committing the following crimes against Axie Crinen attempted capital murder, kidnapping, rape, and robbery. The information did not specify which charges constituted the underlying felony or felonies to the capital charges.
