¶ 1. The Circuit Court of Jackson County granted summary judgment against Darrin Louis McArthur in his negligence claim for injuries arising out of a work-related accident. The claim was asserted against McArthur’s employer under the Jones Act. The circuit court determined *502that there was no genuine disputed issue of fact regarding McArthur’s status as a seaman within the meaning of the Jones Act.
