Emma C. Koenig was born in South Dakota on March 22, 1894, and died in St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Paul on September 27, 1953. She left surviving her five sisters, Katherine M. Parker of Sisseton, South Dakota; Walburga Barrett of the same place; Sophie Otto of Anaconda, Montana; Mary Theis of Park Rapids, Minnesota; and Gertrude Theis of Arlington, Minnesota, and one brother, Edward M.
