This is a petition for a special proceeding under General Obligations Law, article 5, title 17 for an order approving the transfer of structured settlement payment rights from the payee, Erika Hall, to petitioner. The structured settlement resulted from an action brought on payee’s behalf while she was an infant against the owner and operator of a boat. Payee was seriously injured in the underlying boating accident.
