James Westmoreland appeals the district court’s grant of Roland Sadoux’s motion to compel arbitration and stay further proceedings pending arbitration. Responding to the claim that Sadoux and co-defendant Jan Hendrickx induced West-moreland to sell his minority shares in a company in which they controlled the remaining 93 percent, Sadoux persuaded the district court to stay the suit and compel arbitration, although defendants were not parties to any agreement to arbitrate.
