The steamer Rodolph, laden with cotton, was sunk in Red fiver. The plaintiffs at the time were the owners of a steamer called the BellB.oat; this boat was furnished with steam pumps, a diving-bell, submarine .armour, .and other implements adapted to the recovery of property submerged in water, .and was employed in that business on tl>e ¡Mississippi and its tributaries.
