This is an action of indebitatus as-sumpsit, for money had and received, brought by the officers of the revenue cutter General Green, belonging to the Delaware district, against the collector of this district, to recover their proportion of the forfeiture incurred by the Perseverance, for a breach of the non-intercourse law, in 1812.
