Plaintiff Charisse Ross has filed an interlocutory appeal from the dismissal of counts III and IV in her third amended complaint against defendants Mauro Chevrolet, Inc. (Mauro), Chicago police officers Christopher Kaporis and Benny Pambuku, and the City of Chicago (City). On appeal, plaintiff contends that the circuit court erred in dismissing her claims of false arrest, false imprisonment, and malicious prosecution against the officers and the City.
