The defendant was convicted of robbery and sentenced to five years’ imprisonment.
In this appeal in the nature of a writ of error, he first assigns as error the procedure on the voir dire of the jury. He says he was prejudiced by the trial judge’s comments on the failure of a defendant to testify and his refusal to permit the defendant to question the jurors fully on the effect they would give to his failure to testify.
