OPINION AND ORDER

TORRES, District Judge.

This is an action for injunctive relief and damages brought pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq. (1994), and the Rhode Island Fair Employment Practices Act, R.I.Gen.Laws § 28-5-1 et seq. (1995). The Plaintiffs claim that the method utilized by the University of Rhode Island (URI) to fix minimum salaries paid to its faculty discriminates against women. After considering the evidence presented during a bench trial and for the reasons stated below, I find that the method is not discriminatory and that judgment…
