RULING AND ORDER

STUART, Chief Judge.

The Court has before it defendant’s motion, filed August 4, 1983, to dismiss the claims of plaintiff Cathy May Swizdor (Cathy) in the above-captioned action. This medical malpractice suit was brought pursuant to the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA), 28 U.S.C. § 1346(b), by plaintiff Richard Swizdor (Richard) on July 25, 1980. On January 28, 1981, Cathy filed an application for joinder as a party plaintiff pursuant to Fed.R.Civ.P. 20, alleging that she was Richard’s wife and that she had been deprived of the physical presence, consortium and economic support…
