MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

This case comes before the Court on Plaintiffs motion for sanctions and for a rule to show cause why Defendants should not be held in contempt of court. Plaintiff Federal Trade Commission (“FTC”) alleges that Defendant Johan Hendrik Smit Duyzentkunst (“Smit”) deactivated an email account containing communications relevant to this case, after receiving notice of the lawsuit and in violation of a temporary restraining order.
