Appeal from Circuit Court, Jefferson County; Jolin H. Miller, Judge. Taxpayer’s suit for injunction by R. E. Osborn against M. V. Henry, as treasurer of Jefferson County, and others. Decree sustaining demurrer to the bill, and plaintiff appeals.

This is a bill by a taxpayer, to enjoin the payment of the salary of the register of the circuit court of Jefferson county.
By the act of the Legislature of August 16, 1915 (Acts 1915, p. 279), the chancery court was consolidated with the circuit court; that is to say, the chancery court was abolished under the authority of sections 148 and 171 of the Constitution. Smith v. Stiles, 195 Ala. 107, 70 So. 905.
