These two cases stem from the efforts of the Attorney General to have a hearing by the Eclectic State Medical Board (hereinafter called “Board”) regarding the validity of the license of Dr. J. S. Schirmer.
On September 14, 1953, the Attorney General of Arkansas filed suit in the Circuit Court of Clay County, Arkansas, against Dr. J. S. Schirmer, seeking a hearing for the purpose of cancelling the license of Dr. Schirmer to practice medicine in this State. That matter reached this Court in the case of Schirmer v.
