Transurface Carriers, Inc. (“Transurface”), brought this action against Ford Motor Company (“Ford”), Bi-State Ford Truck Sales, Inc. (“Bi-State”), and Detroit Diesel Allison, a division of General Motors Corporation (“General Motors”), in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts for breach of express and implied warranties allegedly given in connection with the sale of a 1979 Ford truck (actually the tractor unit).
