In this action *428of assumpsit stemming from a condemnation of real estate by the City of Philadelphia, we are asked, to determine the status of an owner of ground rents in such a proceeding.
Originally the matter came before us on the city’s rule to show cause why the fund realized from the condemnation should not be paid to it and the School District of Philadelphia in partial satisfaction of back taxes.
