The material words of the sheriff's bond on which this suit is brought, are that he "shall well and truly account for and pay into the hands of the county trustee for the time being all such sum or sums of money as may be or shall come into his hands, or which he ought to collect for the use of the county, and in all things comply with the acts of the General Assembly in such case made and provided."
