2Per curiam

This matter comes before the court on application of plaintiffs counsel for attorney fees to be awarded on appeal in this Title VII case. See 42 U.S.C. § 2000e-5(k) (1994). This court affirmed a jury verdict in favor of the plaintiff on December 11, 2000. The jury awarded the plaintiff $52,175.48 for back pay plus $100,000.00 for emotional distress and mental anguish. The district court amended its judgment to add $5,288.92 in prejudgment interest. At the same time, the court awarded plaintiff $53,025.00 in attorney fees.
