SMART, Presiding Judge.
John F. Frances, Jr., was convicted of two counts of assault in the first degree, one count of assault in the second degree, and three counts of armed criminal action. The convictions arose out of a shooting incident which occurred on April 15, 1996, in Kansas City. There were three alleged victims of the shooting; Gregory Watson, Stanley Johnson, and Jonathan Barnes.
