The action below was one to recover for personal injuries suffered by plaintiff, Charles Dannenfel-ser, the expenses of medical attendance and for injuries to plaintiff’s horse and to his wagon and its contents, caused by an electric car, operated by the defendant company, running westwardly on Chapel street, which struck plaintiff’s loaded express wagon in which he was driving northwardly on Ashland avenue across Chapel street.
