Goodwin v. Jones
Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court
This was an action of assumpsit on a policy of insurance pending in this Court. Before the last March term the plaintiff died, and at that term Gray, who had been of counsel for him, suggested the death on the record, and moved that Nathaniel Goodwin, of Hartford, in the state of Connecticut, to whom administration of the estate of said deceased had been committed under the authority of that state, might be admitted to prosecute this action.

This question comes before the Court on the motion of Nathaniel Goodwin, that he may be admitted to prosecute a suit, pending in this Court, and commenced by Daniel Goodwin against Ebenezer Jones.
