The bill in this case was filed by the appellants, on the 6th of July, 1850, in the Circuit Court of the United States, for the Western District of Penpsylvania, to obtain -an injunction restraining the appellees from the use of two of Woodworth’s planing taachines in the city of Pittsburg. The term for which Woodworth’s patent was originally granted, expired in 1842, but it was extended seven years by the board established by the 18th section of the act of 1836.
