Appellant was indicted for the-murder of O. G. McGee, and on the trial was convicted of manslaughter. The testimony of the several witnesses is in conflict, some of them supporting the charge of murder; some of them made out a case of self-defense, and it might be considered that upon certain reconciliations of the testimony the verdict of manslaughter had some support in the proof. In this state of case, it was important that the instructions should be reasonably free from harmful error.
