Appellees Deborah Freeman (Freeman), Denise Corbello and Lynette Calvert, the daughters of Wanda Granger (Granger), sued appellants Cresthaven Nursing Residence (Cresthaven) and its owner Cantex Healthcare Centers d/b/a Cresthaven Nursing Residence (Cantex)2 for damages resulting from the care and treatment Granger received while a resident of Cres-thaven, which allegedly resulted in her death on July 20, 1996.
