The plaintiff Everson was the organizer and first president of Partners Life Insurance Company, which later merged with the defendant Bankers Union Life Insurance Company. He was doing business as Partners Agency, Inc., and was the sole general agent for Partners Life Insurance Company from August 1, 1966, through November 1, 1971.
