This disciplinary matter is before the Court on the report and recommendation of Special Master Quentin Marlin, who recommends that the Court accept the April 14, 2021 petition for voluntary discipline of L. Nicole Hamilton1 (State Bar No. 320909) and impose a six-month suspension as discipline for Hamilton’s failure to return unearned legal fees to a client after her discharge and her failure to pay that client’s subsequent fee arbitration award in a timely manner.
