OPINION

DIAL, Justice.

This is an appeal from a conviction for the offense of possession of methamphetamine. The jury found the appellant guilty and assessed his punishment at 25 years’ confinement and a fine of $10,000.00.

San Antonio narcotics detective Jack Wright received information from an informant that the appellant Fred Milton Vance was in possession of methamphetamine at a location in the adjoining county, Guadalupe County.
