Hazel Armstrong, administratrix of the estate of George J. Armstrong, deceased, brought suit in the superior court of Cook county against the Chicago and Western Indiana Railroad Company (hereinafter referred to as the C. W. I. R. R. Co.) and the Chicago and Eastern Illinois Railway Company, (hereinafter designated as the C. E. I. Ry. Co.,) under the Federal Employers' Liability act, to recover damages for the death of Armstrong.
