VAN GRAAFEILAND, Senior Circuit Judge:
Gregory Boutte appeals from a judgment convicting him on five counts of wire fraud (18 U.S.C. § 1343), five counts of submitting false claims to a federal agency (18 U.S.C. § 287) and thirteen counts of making false statements to a federal agency (18 U.S.C. § 1001). Boutte contends that the district court committed reversible error in denying certain pretrial motions, making an improper evidentiary ruling and giving defective instructions to the jury.
