The Parish of Jefferson instituted .separate suits (which were consolidated . for *844trial in the district court and for decision on appeal) against each of the above named defendants, who are owners of property in Wilshire Heights Subdivision in Jefferson Parish, seeking a mandatory injunction for the removal of certain fences which the defendants have erected on and over a strip of ground 14.69 feet wide, designated as “Martin Behrman Walk”, abutting the rear of defendants’ property and which, it is alleged, 'is public property having been dedicated to public use according to…
