This suit, commenced in a state court, was removed by defendant to the Circuit Court of the United States for the Southern District of Georgia. The object of the action was for damages for personal injuries to plaintiff’s husband, resulting in death, whilst engaged as a conductor in the yards of the defendant at Augusta.
